⏭️Eligibility Criteria⏮️
- Such applicants who are living below the poverty line or destitute women, widow women, orphans and divorced women will be given ₹41000 under this scheme, out of which ₹36000 will be given to the applicant before marriage and ₹5000 will be given to the applicant within 6 months of marriage.
- BPL families, general / scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and backward class families having less than 2.5 acres of agricultural land and families with income less than one lakh rupees will be given a total amount of ₹11000, out of which ₹10000 will be given to the applicant before marriage and ₹1000 after marriage.
- Amount to be given to sportswomen – Sportswomen will be given an amount of Rs 31000 under Haryana Kanyadan Yojana.

- The parents (beneficiaries) seeking this grant have to submit an application in a prescribed format along with all the documents to the concerned Tehsil Welfare Officer or District Welfare Officer.
- The District Welfare Office after completing the required formalities will submit the case to the concerned Deputy Commissioner who will be the sanctioning authority under this scheme.
- This amount will be withdrawn from the treasury by the concerned District Welfare Officer and disbursed to the applicant in the bank account before the marriage of the daughter.
- After the celebration of the marriage, a certificate in the prescribed format will be submitted by the beneficiary confirming that the marriage has indeed taken place.
