Aadhaar Card:– The Aadhaar Card is a unique identification card issued by the Indian government to residents of India. If you need to download your Aadhaar Card, follow these steps:-
- Visit the official website of UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) at https://uidai.gov.in/.
- Click on the “Download Aadhaar” option under the “My Aadhaar” tab on the homepage.
- Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number or 28-digit enrolment ID, along with your full name, pin code, image captcha, and click on “Get One Time Password” button.
- You will receive an OTP (One Time Password) on your registered mobile number.
- Enter the OTP in the designated field and click on the “Download Aadhaar” button.
- A new page will appear with a link to download your Aadhaar card in a PDF format.
- Click on the “Download Aadhaar” link.
- Enter the password to open the PDF file, which is the first four letters of your name in CAPITAL letters, followed by your year of birth (YYYY).
- Once you have entered the password, you can view and download your Aadhaar Card in a PDF format.
- Take a printout of the Aadhaar Card if needed.
It is important to note that the downloaded Aadhaar Card is a valid proof of identity and address, and can be used for most purposes. However, it is advisable to apply for a physical copy of the Aadhaar card by submitting the necessary documents to the nearest Aadhaar Enrolment Center.
